The edges of these blades have a Chromium-Ceramic-Platinum-Tungsten and Polymer coating.

Derby Premium Single Edge blades are manufactured from stainless razor blade steel strip from Sweden and are perforated, hardened, and ground by utilizing the most advanced equipment. They are suitable for all Straight Razors, Cut Throat Razors, and Shavette type razors.
Each blade is individually wax paper wrapped.
With this blade, you don't need to split double-edged razor blades.
