Beard Care Tips
Growing a long Beard is pretty simple. Step one: grow facial hair. Step two: take care of it. How long will growing a beard take? It depends. Everyone has a genetically determined maximum growth rate but there are ways to ensure you reach your potential. How to make a beard grow faster? You can use our Beard Growth Oil formulated exclusively for growing the beard (please read the ingredients, we use the most expensive oils in the world), and of course, healthy living with a good diet, exercise, and adequate rest.
1. Wash your Beard
Your facial hair is just like the hair on your head, it gets oily. That is why it is very significant to wash it thoroughly to achieve a net trim. Apply our Beard Shampoo on your beard then dry it with a towel. Be sure not to use a shampoo that can make your skin dry. We recommend you use it every 2-3 days. Use a clean towel to dry your beard. If possible use a natural Beard Shampoo without petrolatum, parabens, artificial fragrances, or colors. Our Beard Shampoo is 100% Natural & Organic and ECOCERT-approved. Apply Beard Conditioner, but please read the ingredients, some Conditioners are formulated for the hair and scalp that can be greasy but the beard is always dry. Our Beard Conditioner is 100% Organic certified, and the ingredients will make your beard softer and straighter.
2. Comb your Beard
It would be easier to trim your beard if you comb it properly since it can remove the tangles. Follow the grain of your beard when combing and start behind the ear down to the chin. We recommend you our Beard & Moustache Comb or any of our Handmade Combs. Our wooden combs are for big beards only.
3. How to Trim a Beard Neckline
When it comes to how to trim a beard neckline, numerous men are doing it the wrong way. The key is not to trim too high and avoid entering the face area. If you want to grow your beard the natural way, then you do not need a neckline. In this way is it simpler to maintain. However, some guys, feel too uncomfortable with their neck hair. The purpose of the neckline is to shape the bottom part of the beard. We recommend using our Shaving Creams or Shaving Soaps for the neckline because are 100% natural without alcohol and any chemicals. Start shaving off all the beard which are under the neckline.
4. How to Apply the Shaving Cream, Shaving Soap or Shaving Oil
Wet the face and apply an almond-sized amount of Shaving Cream to a shaving brush and use the brush to apply across the area to be shaved, the action of the brush and the cream will gently prepare the area to be shaved. Shave as normal and then rinse with clean and warm water.
The shaving cream can be applied with either a shaving brush or your fingers. Of course, the brush has the added advantages of producing a warm lather, further lifting the beard off your face, and gently exfoliating the skin, and you will save shaving cream too. To apply a Shaving Soap you need a Shaving Brush, that will helps you to produce a nice lather and open the pores for a clean shave and less irritation.
Another excellent option is to use Shaving Oil because it is transparent and you can see through the oil. Try our English Shaving Oil 100% Natural & Organic.
When you are done trimming your beard, you will have to rinse your face to clean the loose hair. Use a clean towel to dry your beard.
5. Apply After Shave Balm or a Cooling After Shave Gel
The least you want is skin irritation right after you trim your beard. When you are done trimming/shaving your beard, make sure that you put on an After Shave Balm or a Cooling After Shave Gel without alcohol. This will keep your skin soft and moisturized and prevent irritation. We recommend you use our After Shave Balm or our Cooling After Shave Gel with Aloe Vera, both are scented with organic peppermint essential oil that has anti-inflammatory properties, and both are made in the UK without parabens, sulphates, artificial fragrances, and colours that makes it ideal for all skin types including sensitive skin.
